I made a children's story and started to illustrate it.
Fifty Things That Make You Special

This is Jacob. He is six. His favorite color is red. Jacob just moved to his new house. He had to leave all his friends behind. Every day his old friend Avery would tell him one good thing that made Jacob special. Without Avery telling him so he didn't feel special. His family saw how sad he was and decided to make him feel better. Dad bought some colorful cardboard from the store. Mom collected some magazines. Jacobs’s sister Margret got some crayons and together they cut and pasted and wrote fifty good things that they liked about Jacob. And the next day when Jacob got home his mom, dad, and Sister Margret gave his new book, it was called Fifty Things That Make You Special. Jacob loved the book. It made him feel special. Jacob still missed Avery but now he would never feel sad again.
